The Behaviour Help App prioritises information security, client privacy, and responsible AI governance. Safeguarding user data and maintaining strict confidentiality are central to how Behaviour Help operates.
NDIS Commission Compliance
Information entered into the Behaviour Help App for AI-supported analysis is de-identified, ensuring that no personal or identifiable information is disclosed to AI systems. This approach aligns with Australia’s AI Ethics Principles and supports the safe, ethical use of technology in behaviour support.
We operate in alignment with guidance from the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission regarding the use of artificial intelligence in the development and review of behaviour support plans.
The Behaviour Help App is designed to support practitioner-led decision-making, with AI used as an assistive tool only. AI does not replace clinical judgement, professional accountability or decision-making.
The Behaviour Help App supports the behaviour support practitioner to prepare for, guide, and document consultation with the participant, their family, carers, and relevant stakeholders, while assisting with Functional Behaviour Assessment and Positive Behaviour Support plans documentation. This ensures behaviour support plans remain person-centred and evidence-informed.
AI-generated outputs are treated as draft support only and are critically reviewed, refined, and validated by the practitioner to ensure accuracy, relevance, and alignment with best practice and regulatory requirements.
Our approach supports compliance with the NDIS Act 2013, the NDIS Code of Conduct, and the NDIS (Restrictive Practices and Behaviour Support) Rules 2018.
Personal information is never sold, shared with third parties, or used to train external AI systems. All data remains securely stored within the Behaviour Help environment and is only accessible to authorised users within your organisation.
Secure & Controlled AI Environment
Our AI operates within a secure, controlled environment designed to maintain strict confidentiality and protect sensitive information. The platform is designed to support clinical decision-making, not replace it, ensuring practitioners remain in control of how information is used, interpreted, and applied.
Continuous Security & Privacy Strengthening
We continuously review and strengthen our security and privacy practices to ensure information is handled with the highest level of care and protection. This includes ongoing monitoring, system improvements, and alignment with best-practice data protection standards to support safe and ethical use of the platform.
Independent Security & Compliance Assurance
Behaviour Help App has been independently assessed against internationally recognised security and data protection standards, including:
SOC 2® Type II Attestation – Covering the Trust Services Criteria for Security, Availability, and Confidentiality,
ISO/IEC 27001:2022 Certification – Confirming a certified Information Security Management System (ISMS),

These independent certifications demonstrate Behaviour Help’s commitment to maintaining robust governance, strong data protection controls, and secure handling of sensitive information.
